ジェラルド・ステーフス・オランダ王国外務省多国間・人権担当局長（大使）による中谷総理大臣補佐官表敬訪問
令和４年９月１４日、中谷総理大臣補佐官は、ステーフス・オランダ王国外務省多国間・人権担当局長（大使）による表敬訪問を受けました。表敬には、ファン・デル・フリート駐日オランダ大使も参加しました。
中谷総理大臣補佐官から、９月１３日に日本政府が決定した「責任あるサプライチェーン等における人権尊重のためのガイドライン」について説明しました。
両者は、「ビジネスと人権」、世界における人権の保護・促進に向けた取組やウクライナ情勢等について意見交換を行いました。
また、両者は、今後も国際人権問題について日・オランダ間で緊密に協力していくことで一致しました。

On September 14 2022, Mr NAKATANI Gen, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Gerard Steeghs, Director (Ambassador), Multilateral Organizations and Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
H.E. Mr. Peter van der Vliet, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Japan, also participated in the meeting.
Mr. NAKATANI, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, explained about the "Guidelines on Respecting Human Rights in Responsible Supply Chains" decided by the Japanese government on September 13.
Both sides exchanged views on ways to promote Business and Human Rights, efforts to protect and promote human rights in the international community as well as the situation in Ukraine.
Both sides also shared the intention to continue to cooperate closely on international human rights issues between Japan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
